Privacy Policy

Glow Dame is operated by Marknadslyftarna, Prastgardsgatan 2, 172 32 Sundbyberg, Sweden. Marknadslyftarna is the data controller for the personal data described here. The only way to contact us is by email at info@glowdame.com.

1. What data we collect

Order and customer data: name, shipping and billing address, email address, order contents, order value, currency and order history. Payment data: your payment is processed by Shopify and its payment providers; we receive the result of the transaction and the last four digits and brand of the card, never the full card number.

Contact data: the name, email address and message you send us through the contact form or by email. Technical and usage data: IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site and cookie identifiers. Marketing data: your email address and consent status if you subscribe to our list.

2. Why we use it and on what legal basis

To take and fulfil your order, arrange delivery and handle returns and refunds: performance of a contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). To answer your questions by email: performance of a contract or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).

To keep accounting and tax records: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). To operate, secure and improve the site, prevent fraud and measure aggregate traffic: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)). To send marketing email and to set non-essential cookies: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

3. Who processes your data

Shopify: our ecommerce, checkout and payment platform, which stores order, customer and payment records. Our third-party fulfilment partner and its carriers: they receive your name, address, email or phone reference and the order contents so the parcel can be shipped and tracked. Analytics providers: they receive pseudonymised usage and device data about your visit. Email and hosting providers: they process messages and site traffic on our behalf.

These parties act as our processors under written data processing agreements, except payment providers and carriers, which also act as controllers for their own compliance purposes. We never sell your personal data.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep your cart and checkout session working; these cannot be switched off. We also use analytics and, where enabled, marketing cookies, which are only set with your consent. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, though the cart and checkout may then not work correctly.

Meta Pixel: we use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Facebook and Instagram) to measure our advertising. It sends Meta your page views, the products you view (product ID, price and currency), when you start checkout, and device data such as your IP address, browser and Meta cookie identifiers. Meta uses this to measure and optimise our ads. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland the pixel only runs after you accept marketing cookies in our banner; we store your choice, the date and the notice version on your device. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the site footer, or by emailing info@glowdame.com.

5. How long we keep it

Order and invoicing records are kept for seven years to meet Swedish bookkeeping law. Contact emails are kept for up to 24 months after the matter is closed. Marketing consent data is kept until you unsubscribe and for a short period afterwards to record the withdrawal. Analytics data is kept in pseudonymised form for up to 14 months.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers, including Shopify, our fulfilment partner and our analytics provider, process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States and in Asia. Where that happens we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, together with additional technical and organisational safeguards. You can ask us for details of the safeguards used.

7. Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the EU, EEA or UK you have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Email info@glowdame.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in Sweden this is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), and in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office.

8. California and other US residents

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information and we do not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioural advertising for money. To make a request, email info@glowdame.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We will verify your request using the email address and order details on file and respond within 45 days. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission. Residents of other US states with comparable privacy laws may use the same process.

9. Children

The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with data, email us and we will delete it.

10. Changes and contact
